A little bit of me in the professional field:
I began working in the energy sector in 2010, and ever since, I’ve been an enthusiast of all things energy. I became passionate about energy literacy and hope to use this space to help make it more widespread.
I have over 18 years of professional experience in corporate and government affairs, strategic communications, positioning strategies, and sustainability. As former Director of the Esso Mobil Colombia Foundation, I conceived and helped establish the first Energy Think Tank in Colombia: the Regional Center for Energy Studies (CREE), where I continue to serve actively as a board member.
I’ve worked in both the public and private sectors, where I successfully built strong relationships with government officials and national opinion leaders. My professional background includes positions at ProColombia, the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, and ExxonMobil Colombia, where I served as Manager of Public and Government Affairs for the Andean Region.
From 2018 to January 2024, I was Vice President of Communications and Strategy at the Colombian Association of Oil and Gas, the leading industry trade group representing companies involved in the exploration and production of oil and gas, as well as the transportation of hydrocarbons and the distribution of fuels and lubricants in Colombia.
In 2023, I received a scholarship to pursue the master’s degree of my dreams. That same year, I began contributing opinion articles on energy topics to La República, a leading financial newspaper in Colombia.

Who I am on a personal level:
I have been with my husband for 10 years and together we have a 7-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter. I love sports, reading, history (particularly Russian), ballet, classical music and reggaeton. From time to time I will share some of this with you here.
